I Could Use One Of Those

This is a Key Lime Shooter and it's Friday night. I deserve one of these I think. It would sure make my mood a bit better. Posted by Picasa

Posing Kitties

My cats are hams when it comes to getting their picture taken. Just look at them! Posted by Picasa

Jack - O - Latern

This gourd makes a rather spooky looking creation. I saw this at the Covered Bridge Festival last weekend. They were about 30 bucks for a decent sized creation. Too pricey for my taste, but had I had the money I probably would have bought one. Posted by Picasa

The Atlantic City Carousel

It saddens me that this year I took my last ride on the beautiful double decker carousel at the Steel Pier.

Why?

Because "The Donald" hasn't renewed the lease on the land the 100 + year old park sits on. He'd rather build a shopping complex or condos then keep a longstanding family tradition in the area. After all, the only thing you should be able to do in Atlantic City is gamble, anything else would be wrong.

So in memory of the carousel I bring you a song:

Five Favorite Photos

Here are my 5 favorite photos from the past month

Mini!

If I ever had loads of money this would be the silly little car I'd drive. I'm partial to the red and blue ones mostly because they stopped making the shimmery chocolate brown one after only a year.

The closest dealer and garage for these cute little cars in Pittsburgh's Shadyside neighborhood. DANG! Oh and you can only use the special tires that Mini's are equiped with.

That's so wrong.

Still I wouldn't mind if someone gifted me with one. Posted by Picasa

Waves

I could spend hours watching the waves crash against the shore. It's a shame that I never have the time to do so. At least I can spend hours looking at the pictures of the waves that I took. It's not the same but it is soothing. Posted by Picasa

The Gulls of the Atlantic City Shore

There were many different gulls about this trip. I'm becoming partial to the brownish ones. So pretty. And the beauty of gulls? They know when you're feeding a pigeon and swoop down to steal the food faster than the speed of light.

I do know one thing, seagulls like funnel cake and tomato basil potato chips. Posted by Picasa

Hump Day Hunt - A Day Late

The fotopherrets word of the week is Hungry

Only in Amish Country would you find a brand of chips called Utz. But if that weren't strange enough these chips are crab flavored. WTF? I'm not sure how tasty they might be but I'm almost sorry I didn't try them. Posted by Picasa

The Tropicana Pigeon

This little birdie drew a lot of attention to the Friday night crowd at the Tropicana. Considering how many people were around it's amazing that it stayed put long enough for me to snap 3 photos. Posted by Picasa

Caesar's After Dark

This casino is beautiful at every angle. I'm so excited that I finally got a few shots of the Caesar's chariot this time round. Posted by Picasa
