Kitty Pictures

I've had a real dry spell with taking and posting pictures lately. So today's post is of my favorite thing, my pets, namely my cats. I'm sure Linda will be happy with this.

Snow!

We finally had a decent snowfall. Not much. Probably about 4 inches. Here are some pictures of my yard and the surrounding area.

Take A Candlelit Walk With Me

Before Christmas, Phipps Conservatory has night hours where there are candles lit throughout the building. One year I hope to be able to go in the evening to see the lights and hear the strolling minstrels.

Until then, here are some of the pictures of the candles I saw on my last daytime visit.

The Cathedral Of Learning

As many of you know, this is my favorite building in Pittsburgh. There isn't a time that I'm in Oakland that I don't snap a few shots of it. It's part of the University of Pittsburgh Campus and it's also haunted, or so they say. Thanks to a dreary day, I think you might even agree with me.

This would be the Justin Hayward orchid. (cos it's the same color as his ugly shirt from hell) Posted by Hello
