A Trip To Trax Farms

If you've ever been to Finleyville, PA, you've probably seen Trax Farms. It's a wonderful magical place where you can buy fresh fruits and veggies among other things.

There's a bakery, an ice cream stand, fudge, greenhouse and even a small restaurant in this one place. (An I've forgotten a few things I'm sure) So step inside and have a look at the magic and goodies lurking inside....

There are a zillion and one different kinds of jams and jellies and butters on the shelves

This week they are having a "Peach Festival," so all the featured products were made from tasty peaches. There was everything from jelly to salsa. Mmm Vidalia Onion and Peach Salsa!

Fancy popcorn and teas can be bought here as well.

Oh and if you long for the candy of yesteryear, you can get that there too!

All the fruits and veggies look beautiful too. Look at these cherries!

And the banana peppers!

And egg plant!

Oh I forgot the green peppers!

One of my favorite things that you can buy there is Chow Chow.

Chow Chow is in simple terms pickled veggies. The best Chow Chow can be found in Lancaster, PA, but if you can't get there, McCutcheon's is the next best thing.

And if all of this wasn't enough, there's the flowers...oh so many flowers.
